Cube Wars - A Top-down Shooter Game Engine


  • Modified the SumoDX engine that was created in the course "Introduction to Game Development using DirectX and C++" on MVA and removed the redundant features.
  • Added Dynamic Texture Mapping and Mesh Creation for run-time creation of enemies.
  • Added gameplay elements such as Bullet Instantiation and Boss mode.
  • Added Difficulty and Wave management to the State Machine.
  • Attached the camera to the player for a Top-Down Overview.
  • Added functionality for selecting the nearest target to aim.
